Conrad Yeats, a suspected Atlantean descendent due to the curvature of his DNA, is also quite the sleuth, as well as being a rather James Bond type, excepting his professorship, of course. The author manages to create this character as a super hero with human frailties, and still you have to like him.
Conrad’s choice of a woman to love is a bit odd in the sense that she’s a nun–sort of. Being the head of a secret society for the papacy, Sister Serena Serghetti is much more than a minion of the Pope. She is smart, beautiful and lethal when necessary.
This story has lots of intrigue, well written with good plotting. I had some trouble with suspension of disbelief on two occasions, however, it was such an enjoyable read I found myself excusing the author and turning the page eagerly.
Recommended for those who love a bit of fantasy with their thrills.

I found the book to be highly readable, even enjoyable. I should have been able to give it four or five stars, but there were just …problems. Maybe it deserves a 3.5.
If you enjoy conspiracy theory, you’ll find about half of all of them represented here, especially of the secret organization trying to rule the world shadow government type.
The action is fact paced - so fast it made me stop and think, ‘WHAT?!!?’ Oh we’re in DC, now we’re in Greece, oh, now London, Paris, DC, Gaza - do these people teleport once they hop on the plane that’s always ready to take off too? The action sequences are great - don’t get me wrong, it’s the TIME LINE I had trouble with. It all happens too quickly. The author could have just said “a few days later” and it would have helped. Instead, these people get shot in the leg and go to a party without a limp an hour later.
The other problem I had with the book is I was expecting more of the Atlantis angle but it wasn’t there. I was expecting Atlantis and got a bunch of Christian end times ’stuff.’ A bit too much actually. It came across a bit too ‘written for the true believer religious types’ for my taste. Not so blatantly as to try to sell religion or be preachy, but just sorta…targeted to a specific crowd that takes the Bible references literally - a crowd that maybe I’m not in.
If you follow politics, you will enjoy the many current event references sprinkled throughout the book. It added a good visual connection for me that I enjoyed, but I think the name dropping and references were so well crafted as to continue to be effective; I don’t think they will date the book in years to come.
A revealing thriller,

The Atlantis Revelation is the third book in a series. Don’t worry though, the story is told in a way that it can stand alone. I would recomend reading the first two. The story is a rip snorting cliffhanger ride. One part Indiana Jones, one part National Treasure and one part DaVinci Code shaken well and served well. The pace builds to a snapping beat. Good and interesting characters populate the pages. An evil organization, the Alignment, is attempting to use ancient technology from Atlantis to change the world. Can an archeologist and a nun stop the evil? This is a well written work and was a lot of fun. If you like the genre of old conspiracies affecting the future, you will like this. If you like a good cracking action story, you will like this. Give it a try
